What is penile aesthetic surgery?
Penile aesthetic surgery is a group of corrective procedures that change how the penis looks rather than how it functions. The aim is a natural, balanced appearance that the patient feels comfortable with.
It is different from enlargement or prosthesis surgery. If your main concern is size or erections, your doctor will explain the more suitable options.

Who is it for?
It suits adult men in good health with a specific, lasting concern about appearance, sometimes after earlier surgery. A doctor assesses suitability in person and discusses whether the concern can be improved and by how much. Weight loss may be advised first when a buried penis is related to body weight.
How the procedure is done
After a private examination, the surgeon plans the procedure with you and agrees the expected result. Most corrections are performed under local anaesthesia with sedation, or general anaesthesia for more extensive work, and you usually leave the same day. Fine dissolvable stitches are placed along natural lines where possible.
Your hotel, VIP transfers and a medical interpreter are arranged before you land, and a personal coordinator stays with you discreetly throughout.
Recovery and results
Swelling and bruising are normal for one to two weeks. Loose underwear, simple pain relief and careful hygiene help healing. Most men return to desk work within a week.
Sexual activity and strenuous exercise are usually avoided for 4-6 weeks. Swelling continues to settle over about 3 months, when the final appearance can be judged. Metropolmed's own medical team performs the treatment in Istanbul, and 12 months of follow-up are included.

Risks and safety
Risks include bleeding, haematoma, infection, delayed wound healing, scarring, temporary or lasting changes in sensation, asymmetry and, occasionally, the need for further correction. Results depend on your anatomy and on any previous surgery.

Can a poor circumcision result be corrected?
Often, yes. Uneven scars, excess skin or skin bridges can usually be revised, though the degree of improvement depends on how much skin remains.
What is a buried penis?
It is a penis that is partly hidden by surrounding skin or the fat pad above it. Correction may combine releasing tissue with fat reduction, and sometimes weight loss is advised first.
Does penile aesthetic surgery increase size?
