Neck Lift

Neck lift surgery, also referred to as lower face lift, is a surgical method that prevents the signs of aging in the jaw line and neck, also it decreases the unwanted appearance caused by various factors.

Neck lift surgery improves the aesthetic appearance of chin and neck area. The sagging skin and fat tissue are reduced and as the result patient looks younger. It is generally preferred over classical facelift surgery in cases where the upper face still looks nice.

Along with neck lift surgery, rejuvenation operations such as eyebrow lifting, eyelid surgery, fat transfer and correction of drooping or frowning eyebrows can be used.

How is Neck Lift Surgery Performed?

Neck lift surgery can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia which the patient is kept awake and comfortable. In the operation, small incisions are made around the ear, behind and under the chin. The muscles in the neck are tightened, the incisions are closed after the excess skin and fat are removed.

As an alternative to neck lift surgery, non-surgical rejuvenation treatments can also be applied. However, it does not provide the same result as neck lift surgery, it only helps to delay this period. In addition, it can be used to provide a complementary effect to neck lift surgery.
