It is the most common hair transplant method. Since there is no incision in the treated area, there are no scars and suturing. Therefore it is highly preferred.
First, local anesthesia is applied. Root picking is done by the FUE motor (0.6 mm to 0.8 mm of incision tips). The grafts taken contain 2-3 hairs. The damage of roots is the last thing we want. Because the small size of the tip to be used effects the healing process of the area.
Once all the hair roots have been collected and separated, transplanting starts. Transplanting is also a very careful stage. It takes experience and precision. Because the channels must be opened carefully here.
The lateral slit method provides incisions according to the size, length and suitability of the hair follicle to open the channels. The correct size and depth of the channels effect the success of hair transplant.
The most important factor in capturing the natural hairstyle is the angle of the channels. The desired shape of the hair and the correct determination of the hair line are also related to the angles to be determined with these correct proportions.
The post-operative dressing and washing procedures continue for 10 days. Transplanted hair follicles regrow within 2-3 weeks. Yet later on the growing hair falls. Note that this is a temporary stage. After a few weeks of rest, the hair grows again and gets its normal shape after 6 months. In some areas, it takes a longer time for the hair to reach this state.
